    are you sleeping enough …?
In this fast paced world, are you getting enough sleep ?
perhaps you never asked this to yourself as you are probably more busy than ever, right from your job to your social and family responsibilities plus this addiction of internet adds on to your life and you need extra time to fill in those responsibilities and new ways of entertainment.

Most of us don’t even ponder over this issue. I also agree there is a subset of people who are deprived of sleep – the insomnia – what we call in medical terms.

Atleast today, just because you ve landed up here on this website to read something, relax yourself and calm down and READ ON whether you are getting enough sleep..

1 Browing internet till late at night

If you are online till late night , you will end up getting less sleep.
Are you one among those people who are addicted to social networking sites, check your mails and tweet things late at night. This is probably a sign that you will have trouble falling asleep and will be having less time to complete your sleep. The reason why you will have trouble falling asleep is simple – your brain is full vibrant thoughts – seeing status updates of your friends etc… the neurons are firing rapidly, you need to relax them to be able to sleep.
(you already have a fast paced life, tomorrow is waiting for you, Remember..??)

    2. Forever out of your mind and stressed :

If your day starts with frustration and even ends with it, and is also filled with it, then probably you are not getting ample sleep. If you are stressed and cant control your anger you probably should go and enjoy sleep, its a beautiful state of mind, you loose all your worries, you are simply lost..! If somebody asks you – where do you go while you are sleeping..?? (here you means your consciousness which actually makes you “YOU”)
You simply get “lost” – a state where there are no worries, no sadness, no happiness… just being lost. So why are you depriving your soul of this beautiful state…??

    3. You keep on forgetting things :

You cant concentrate on things. You are seemingly dull with no or very less interest in doing things that a person would normally do in a day. Its a sign that you aren’t getting enough sleep.

4.You are hungry and full at odd times: You go crazy with the food. You start feeling hungry at times would never do and you would be full at times you would feel hungry on normal days (those golden days of past). In short you have lost your normal routine and your body is not at peace.

    5. Weight issues: With sleep deprivation, you would either gain weight or loose weight. So any unexplained weight gain or weight loss of near past is of significance and requires medical attention as weight is affected in many diseases. Sleep deprivation can be one of them.

    6. You are often falling sick

Sleep deprivation for prolonged periods will modify your immune system and weaken it. Ultimately leaving you with increased chances of getting frequent infections. You probably will notice the increase in the frequency by yourself. Its high time top get proper sleep. But never forget, there are many other medical conditions where your immunity is decreased, so its high time that you see a doctor.

    7.Dilemma is your new friend:

“Now or later”, “here or there”, “this or that”; these are the common question you keep asking yourself. Since your brain sort of decreases the blood supply to the “thought centre” if you are sleep deprived, you loose your decision making skills. You will be more prone to forgetting things.

    8. Things have changed:

Now this is something that will surely take a lot of time for you to realize. But sooner or later you will come to know that mental peace and happiness is hard to find. And things which made you happy in the Past looks flat these days, they simply don’t elevate your mood. Your relationships are affected as you are now starting to pay less attention to everything around you.

If you are experiencing all these, then probably you are spending less time in your bedroom and you need to address these issues promptly.
