    Correct answer:

    No, the cause is not infectious or immunological: it's cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, also known as Sézary's disease.

    In this condition, generalized inflammation and scaling of the skin occurs, called erythroderma. Other findings include hepatosplenomegaly and there are atypical T-cells present in the blood.
