    Correct answer:

    Yes, it's warfarin induced skin necrosis.

    Clearly a serious complication of medication use; there is still debate about the disease mechanism (paradoxical activation of coagulation vs. direct toxic effect of warfarin vs. some kind of hypersensitivity reaction...).

    It usually occurs in obese, middle-aged women. When being confronted by this condition, you should also consider pyoderma gangrenosum and necrotizing fasciitis.
