I thought it might be fun to find out random things about the people on this forum - does anyone else find it weird that we (occasionally) have these reasonably deep and meaningful conversations but don't know that much about each other and may never meet face-to-face? The rules are (feel free to add to them): 1) you must post a minimum of 10 random things, but feel free to do more 2) these things must be RANDOM - i.e not related to med, which is the glue which holds us all together 3) Be careful that ur random things don't make it easy to identify you - who knows, one of the trusted 'elders' could be much older than u think.... My Random Things: 1. I love cooking 2. I drive a red subaru impreza (sadly my mum's and not mine) 3. I think of good comebacks about 2 hours after i needed them, and then i can never stop thinking about them until ive said them to the person and consequently look like a fool 4. I attract ridiculously old men (thus my irrational fear of stalkers)... - when i was in Paris this ~60yo man asked me out to dinner, then over to his - when i refused he gave me some strange strange fruit and told me to take it back home to Australia and plant it as a 'love tree'. seriously - in sydney the owner of the Metro theatre (big music venue for the non-Sydneysiders) also asked me out...when i turned him down (he's also in the 50-60 age bracket) he offered me free VIP tickets.. 5. I wont drink alcohol that doesn't taste good - no vodka shots for me 6. I am pasty - if I go outside I just get burnt 7. I want to go to Croatia..and also to Spain, and Greece, and Italy, and France, and Brazil, and New York...the list goes on 8. I usually go to bed ridiculously early - say about 9.30, unless i go out - because i have an inability to sleep in no matter how late i go to bed 9. I have a secret penchant for sentimental 90s music...spice girls, backstreet boys, christina, c'est la vie, etc etc anyone? 10. I think I'm addicted to ice-cream.
