40% of Physicians Are Somewhat Satisfied With Practice's Efficiency: 3 Takeaways

    When asked about a practice's overall efficiency, more than 50 percent of physician said they were either very or somewhat satisfied with their practice's efficiency, according to Medscape.

    Here's what you need to know:

    1. A majority of physicians, 40 percent, reported being somewhat satisfied with their practice's efficiency while 15 percent said they were very satisfied.

    2. Remaining neutral, 14 percent said they were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. However, 23 percent physicians reported they were somewhat dissatisfied and 8 percent were very dissatisfied.

    3. In order to improve a practice's overall efficiency:


    • 43 percent reported better technology

    • 38 percent requested more nonphysician clinical staff

    • 29 percent said fewer patient schedules

    • 19 percent indicated more administrative staff

    • 18 percent said percent reported more physicians
