We all love to watch cartoons. They are representative of many things that children would relate with. Some of the cartoons act in a manner that would definitely leave you in stitches while others act in ways that would make you believe they need some psychiatric evaluations. We have analyzed a few of the characters in these cartoons and compiled a list of some of the characters that would do well with these evaluations. So prepare to be shocked with these 5 Cartoon Characters with Psychological Disorders! Lets begin!

    1. Bugs Bunny:

Bugs Bunny tops our list of cartoon characters that are suffering from psychological disorders. For starters, we all love Bugs because of his very funny antics and crazy disguises that more often than not will leave us all in stitches. But in the same spirit, we believe that Bugs suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder. This is mainly because of the manner in which he shifts from being crazy and funny to being moody and emotional. He is able to adopt different disguises which makes us believe he is suffering from some mental disorder that needs attention. Obviously, his anti-social behaviors do not do anything to improve his emotional distress when needs be.

    2. Minions:

The minions from Despicable Me are some of the most attractive cartoons that we have seen. We all love the way they are usually all over the place with their attention to detail even with things that do not necessarily concern them. In addition to that, they are easily distracted by things that would otherwise cause no need for distraction. Anyone would want to have these cartoons as pets. But we have realized that they could be suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. This mainly comes from the fact that they are very playful and have a disturbing inability to control themselves.

    3. Ariel:

The little mermaid is not only beautiful in all the possible definitions of the word but she is also adorable. She is also known to have very big dreams and undying love and has a fetish for other species, especially when they are good-looking. But apart from the fact that she is all of these things, we suggest you look beyond the beauty. Could it be that she has a psychological disorder? I Mean, why does she seem to have a problem with hoarding? When you look at her little cave, you are able to see that she has very many things that she seems attached to and cannot do away with. This disorder is known as Disposophobia. This explains why she always acts too clingy.

    4. Charlie Brown:

Charlie Brown is another interesting cartoon character that seems to have a disorder. He is a sweet little boy who seems to make friends with virtually anyone who is willing. He has his own insecurities with his shortcomings and these seem to take a toll on him. He thinks everyone picks on him even though this is not true at all. His fear of being rejected can be seen when he is having his boy’s sessions with Lucy. From these characteristics, we can conclude that he is suffering from what is known as Avoidant Personality Disorder.

    5. Dexter:

Dexter is a genius no doubt. He has a secret laboratory and looks really sweet from the way we see him. His sister, Dee Dee seems to be so annoying that I sometimes wonder if I would be able to survive a night with her in the same house. But what if we told you that Dexter has a mental problem? I know you wouldnt believe it because obviously it is Dee Dee who needs psychiatric attention. Well, it is thought that Dexter suffers from Asperger’s syndrome. He has a problem with his social interactions and finds it very difficult to make new friends. His communication difficulties may be the primary problem with all these.
