Anti-oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes are believed to suppress the neoplasia progression . The 1st anti-oncogene was found in the (retinoblastoma) it's located on the chromosome number 13 and called RB . The familial form of this tumor appears as an autosomal dominant gene , in affected children we find one gene(muted) and another (normal). The progression of retinoblastoma must be associated with another somatic mutation in the affected child. We found that this anti-oncogene is upsent in the Retinoblastoma and also in many other tumors..
