    Buruli Ulcer.

It’s a chronic, indolent, necrotizing disease of the skin and soft tissue and is caused by toxin-producing mycobacteria named Mycobacterium ulcerans. Buruli ulcer generally begins as a painless dermal papule or subcutaneous nodule, which, over a period of weeks to months, breaks down to form a necrotic ulcer with extensively undermined edges. tumblr_ldt255COyS1qeo1dvo1_400.jpg
