    Can teeth be 3D printed?!

Nowadays, many dentists in the dental sector tend to treat their patients with super luxurious methods using the latest technologies to get the best possible and desirable treatment results.

3D printing is one of the latest technologies which have been widely used by today's dentists.

One of the biggest advantages of this technology is accurate results thanks to the process itself which is as following

The dentist start taking digital impression by using intra oral scanner getting all the desired details in patient's mouth, then design the needed prosthesis especially for that patient, custom made, using 3d printer software on desktop and finally getting it after milling in CAD CAM machine to be inserted in the patient's mouth.

Prosthesis which can be manufactured using 3d printing technology includes :

    -Crowns and bridges.

    -Dentures.

    -Veneers.

Not only dental prosthesis which can be manufactured using this technology but also surgical tools and devices can be.

This means that 3d printing technology invaded all dental branches saving the time wasted in the past to get traditional impressions, sending it to the lab and waiting for several days to get the prosthesis which may have many defects.

So we can say that today teeth can be 3d printed thanks to the amazing time saving technology.
