    Hi
    a patient (female 32) had
Cellulitis (due to a bad injection). her doctor has Prescribed Teicoplanin (Targocid 400 mg/ injection each 12 hours). 10 of them was injected to her in 6 days.
but her platelet was very low (138 in first day and 87 in last day). notice that Teicoplanin shouldn't prescribe for who has less platelet and can lead to Thrombocytopenia. after some days (she was in hospital for caring) the the blood pressure exceed 190 and in some hours lead to Myocardinal infraction and death.
    now my questions are:
was the Targocid lead to this?
was there any alternative cure for Targocid or not?
if her doctor could Prescribe platelet injection?
what about blood transfution and dyalisis? couldn't be effective?
