in Guyton's.. it's said that emotinal stimuli increases interdigestive gastric secretion.. which is believed to contribute to development of peptic ulcer..
but i know that anxiety..anger fear or stress initiate sympathetic response..
so..how would sympathetic activity increase secretion?..how would a sympathetic response use vagal pathways?
we didn't learn such things in neuroanatomy and neurophysiology.
    so confused..
    please; tell me

I think this might be what you're looking for:
    Stress ulcer.
It is a sort of peptic ulcer common in patients suffering from long time stressful condition like burn or some other causes. What basically happens is the aggressive mechanisms are more or less intact, that is acid secretion is normal or decreased. But the protective mechanisms are hampered. That is the mucosal and bicarbonate secretions. This imbalance expises the delicate mucosa and you have an ulcer. Also stress causes reduced mucosal blood flow thus slowing recovery.

Stress ulcer or Curling ulcer comes to mind when you say ulcer in sympatgetic state.
It was a wild guess (kinda), hope i got it right.
