what are the differents using of aspirin and calpidogrel
- as an antiinflammatory, as it suppresses peripheral Prostaglandin production ( Note - acetaminophen doesn't do this, as it only suppresses central PG suppression. But there are many who swear that their joint pain goes away with a Tylenol and we know how (-: )
- as an antipyretic due to central PG suppression
- as a blood thinner / antiplatelet agent ranging from Coronary vascular disease to Kawasaki disease and post septal closures in Congenital heart disease.
- as aspirin facemask or facewash for cleaning ur facial skin.
Clopidogrel as an antiplatelet agent either in combo with Aspirin or as a single agent in our Asthma/COPD patients - where aspirin is contraindicated.
