We will discuss some topics together and these will have the [Group Discussion] tag in the thread title. I expect members to participate with answers other than waiting for others to reply, failure to get enough response will simply end this new feature. I will start by one question and when there is an answer whether wrong or right I will elaborate more if required and then post another question related to the same topic. This will go on until we have enough knowledge and decide to move on with another one. My speciality is Pediatrics so I will be posting more on this topic.I may be right or I may be wrong, that is why we call it group discussion rather than teaching since I am still learning me too. First topic I chose is an easy one, usually found in the USMLE pediatrics board exam video too: BIRTH INJURIES 1.What are the common forms of birth injuries you can see in newborns?
Come on people, we have more than 300 views but no answer? Ok I will name the most common ones: Caput Succedaneum, Cephalhematoma Another form of injury(?) is pehaps subcutaneous fat necrosis which can be caused by perinatal asphyxia Another rare one is Erb-Duchenne Palsy? , clavicular fractures?
