When Doximity released its first compensation report earlier this year, we found that salaries varied widely across the country. For example, an internal medicine physician in San Francisco makes $235,988, while that same physician in Sioux Falls makes $262,248. Combine that with cost of living, and you could potentially have a very different financial quality of life from one state to the next.
