    MCCEE or Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination is the first needed exam to get LMCC , If you are medical graduate everywhere or medical student in USA so you can enter the exam.

    The MCCEE is a general assessment of the candidate's basic medical knowledge in the principal disciplines of medicine. It is also designed to assess the skills and knowledge required at the level of a new medical graduate who is about to enter the first year of supervised postgraduate training practice.

    It is a computer based exam consisting of 180 MCQs that lasts for about 4 hours , It is available in two languages "English and French".

    You can take the exam in about 80 countries and it costs 1615 Canadian Dollars , if you failed you can repeat it for 1365 Canadian Dollars

    After you pass MCCEE , you will be able to enter MCCQE Examination which is the qualifying exam for participating medicine in Canada

    *IMPORTANT: Effective April 1, 2013, the MCCEE scheduling window will be reduced from five (5) years to one (1) year for all existing and new MCCEE candidates.
    would you please explain what is that meaning and this is good or bad for new candidates

    If you are planning to take these exams you need to start your application early as
    1- You need 1st to register in the Physicians Credential Registry of Canada (PCRC).
    2- Then you should register with the medical council of Canada.
    3- Then you can apply for these exams.
    You should have a permanent residency to be able to apply for residency matching system

    hi. there's a new prep and review centre in toronto, on Canada offering comprehensive and extensive reviews sessions for the MCCEE and NAC-OSCE for anyone whose interested. Instructed by a group of doctors (Canadian & Foreign either practicing in Toronto, in residency, or just passed their exams)
    Fees are the best out compared to all the other places.
    New Sessions starting Oct. 19, 2013. Register early and receive a free ipad mini.
