    I agree with the docs above...this is the manifestation of lepromatous leprosy. Even severe systemic sclerosis can have similar amputation of digits ( may not be to this extend ), but in systemic sclerosis the skin over the hand will be stretched and shiny.

    The cause of amputation in leprosy is damage to the sensory nerves and in systemic sclerosis - narrowing of vessels.
