I don't want ur first impression of livido reticularis to be the wrong one. Livido reticularis - looks livid / angry

this condition is called - Toasted Skin Syndrome also known as Erythema Ab Igne (EAI). It's a chronic heat related injury, although not a direct burn. One manifestation is in some lap top users who take the term lap-top seriously and won't keep it on the table even if there is one in front of them...what happens is that the lap acts as a heat sink and absorbs the heat by conduction. This habit is becoming infamous as a very imp. cause of infertility ( toasted tes..es synd. P:)

there are many other causes for toasted skin syndrome ex - in people who sit in front of a fireplace regularly.

Some reports suggest that it can be pre-cancerous.

Thank you so much for the information! ^_^ I was happy to meet the term in what I have to study for my surgery exam, it was way easier to learn about it when ~already knowing how it looks like ^_^
