Mom's In The Delivery Room. Suddenly Dad Looks At The Doctor's Hand And Can't Believe His Eyes

Alicia and Randy Atkins were in the hospital and ready to give birth on their scheduled Cesarean section date - they couldn't wait to meet their new baby girl! Alicia was in the middle of the operation and everything was going smoothly, when the baby still inside of her suddenly reached out of the womb and grabbed onto the doctor's finger.

The surgeon, Dr. Sawyer, instinctively screamed out to Randy that their baby was grabbing his finger! Understanding what he meant, Randy grabbed their camera in a flash and snapped a photo of the spectacular event. The rest of the birth went off without a hitch and after the chaos subsided, the Atkins decided to name their spunky little girl, Nevaeh, which is "Heaven" backwards!

Capturing something like this on film is incredibly rare! Alicia explained just how special the photo was to both her and the staff at the hospital, "It was such an amazing photo. Hospital staff had possibly heard of it happening but they had never seen a photo of it." This precious picture is something that the doctors and Atkins alike will treasure for years to come!
