Researchers examined how Hispanic ethnicity associates with outcomes in Covid‐19 patients in Long Island, New York. In this retrospective cohort study, 2,039 Hispanic and non‐Hispanic Caucasian patients testing positive for SARS‐CoV‐2 were included. These patients comprised 1,079 (53%) non‐Hispanic Caucasians and 960 (47%) Hispanic. In this population, although Hispanics presented at higher rates than average, their outcomes were similar to Caucasian patients. Source
