    Answer - This is a specimen of segment of colon with colonic mucosal ulceration, there are isolated islands of regenerating mucosa bulging upward to create pseuodpolyps. Mucosal atrophy is evident with flattened and attenuated mucosal surface.
    Conclusion - Severe active ulcerative colitis
