There is a good news for women’s with a heart attack. A latest research found that survival rates are higher in women’s with a heart attack who are being treated by female doctors at ER. The study was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on 21st August 2018 under “Patient–physician gender concordance and increased mortality among female heart attack patients”. The research team examined the census of nearly 582,000 patients with heart attack who were admitted to Florida hospitals between 1991 and 2010. Surprisingly, they have found that higher mortality rate in female patients with a heart attack who are treated by male doctors. DO YOU KNOW WHY ?
