    Differentials

    VOlkman's ischemic contracture ( most likely )
    combined median and ulnar nerve paralysis
    spastic hand
    Leprosy
    congenital flexion deformity aka Camptodactyly ( esp. since the title of the thread is pediatric cases )
    Dupuytren's contracture ( unlikely )

    i will discuss the differentials in detail later.

    message to members: gals and guys, don't just give the diagnosis....serves no purpose. Discuss the challenges posted and u will be in gr8 shape, if u encounter a similar case ( even if it's a case dat u will refer to a speciaist.....i mean, if u discuss the case wid ur patient b4 u refer, she/he will hav a high opinion about u and not 2 mention "the spinoffs" thereof
