My father and grandfather both had melanoma, and I visit the dermatologist every 6 months as a precaution. I've had about a dozen different moles removed over the last 20 years, none of which have been cancerous. I've got at least 2 moles that were removed that have pigmented the scar tissue. However the fact that it's regrown in days and weeks and does not seem to be good.
