In October 2011, Megan Kowalewskinoticed a lump growing on her neck. When she went to hospital, doctors told her she had Hodgkin’s lymphoma, making her start the chemotherapy immediately, till spring when she was declared to be free of cancer. This good news only lasted for a month as she was newly diagnosed with cancer again, only this time it was quickly spreading all over her body. This subjected her to radical treatments, of which she had no option. She had to take the latest cancer medicine, but that never meant that she was not going to continue with chemotherapy. Even under the tight scheduled treatment, she went on with her marriage plans as expected. She endured all the pain and nausea caused by the disease, without giving in. to do this, she teamed up with the nurses who were helping her and other patients to come up with a motivating music clip. Good news is that she fought the disease for one and a half years before being declares cancer free again. Even though it is still considered that the cancer might have a return back, she still emerged a winner against the deadly disease.
