In 2011, ex-soldier, Mitch Hunter, saved the life of a woman he was traveling with, by pushing her to safety when their car slammed into a 10,000 volt pylon. Hunter had thousands of volts of electricity surging through his body for five minutes and it eventually took his leg and face.

#3 No More Pointing And Staring

After many operations, the 35-year-old hero, finally feels confident walking down the street. In the beginning stages of his recovery, children would point and stare, but that rarely happens anymore. He's come a long way.

    #4 Comments On Experience

Hunter commented on his experience and progress, saying: “I feel just as healthy just as I did when I was 21, and I feel great. I look back on it as something that made me stronger. I mean, yeah, I’d like to have my leg and my face back, but without that happening I wouldn’t be who I am today.” What a hero!
