This is most likely SCOLIOSIS which is the abnormal curving of the spine sideways or laterally. In this patient the spine is curved to the right as seen in the 2nd pic. The first pic depicts the Adams Forward Bend Test wherein the patient is asked to bend forward. The test is positive if there is prominence of the spine at the sides. In this patient the prominence is at the right. A radiograph is warranted with AP, and lateral views of the spine to also assess for lordosis and kyphosis of the spine. The Cobb's angle can also be measured to assess the severty of the scoliosis, which also aids in the choice of management such as PT, casting, bracing, sujrgery or just observation.
