In the world of modern-day plastic surgery, anything is fixable, including your lips. However, choosing which lip-style you like best may be difficult. A new study published in JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery may have a solution for you. The researchers had a focus group look at 100 photos of women with various lip dimensions in order to find which lip shape and size was deemed the most attractive. Here’s what they found: According to the study, the most attractive lips were found to be those with a 53.5 percent increase in surface area from the original image. These had a one to two ratio of upper to lower lip, and lips which made up about 10 percent of the lower third of the face. In other words, men and women alike seem to agree that bigger, but not too big, was better for lip size. Kylie Jenner, who advertises her own lip kit, might want to take note. She recently confessed that she was "obsessed" with making her lips bigger. Of course, the study noted a number of limitations. For example, the lip examples were only based on natural features of Caucasian women. However, this may be due to the fact that 70 percent of individuals who augment their lips are white women, The Daily Mail reported.
