Hi guys. I'm a freshman medical student from Turkey. In Turkey, pre-med and med school are not separate things, so when we go to med school after high school, it's for six years and it's jjust as if both of them were combined. So when we graduate, we get the MD title. At the end of my third year, I'll take my Step 1 exam and later on, I'll be taking the other ones. I want to become a doctor in the US. I hope to become a surgeon, if possible. What do I have to do ? I'll take any suggestions, any tips, any tricks. I have lots of time so I want to make sure I do my best. Thanks.
