Villages Doctor Asked His Girlfriend To Take Nude Pictures Of Her Children .. They Were Caught

A doctor who asked his girlfriend to take nude pictures of her children was caught after one of the kids discovered the messages on her mother’s laptop, Oviedo police said

Trinetra Vaidya, 42, and his girlfriend, Katja Goen, 38, both face child-pornography charges. Vaidya is a gastroenterologist with a practice based in The Villages.

Police say the pair shared a series of explicit messages in November, with Vaidya asking Goen to take pictures of her children, aged 11 and 12, while they were showering or changing clothes.

The couple would also share images of young girls, comparing them to Goen’s children, according to a police report.

The texts sent between Goen and Vaidya were stored on Goen’s laptop, police said. One of the children saw the messages while using the computer.

In an interview with detectives, one of the children said her mother walked into the bathroom and took a picture of her while she was in the shower.

“When she confronted her mother on the pictures, she felt her mother dismissed her concerns and advised she had already deleted it,” a detective wrote in a report. “[The child] felt concerned as Vaidya was spending the night that evening and she felt her mother showed him the nude picture.”

When confronted by police, Goen admitted to knowing about the messages and the child pornography, police said. She said she took nude pictures of her child about 10 times but said she didn’t share them, the report said.

Goen was arrested Sunday and has since bonded out of the Seminole County Jail. Vaidya was arrested Tuesday in Volusia County.
