We think your chances would be pretty slim, but hé you can always try.

We often take modern technology, medicine and science pretty much for granted. And sometimes it feels like that finding a Wi-fi hotspot when you’re for example traveling is part of our basic needs. So what would it be like if we as modern humans were living 2.5 million years ago? Would we be able to survive?

Well first of all you would be living during the Pleistocene epoch, a period which spanned from 2.6 million years ago to 11700 years ago. This was the time in which most of the recent ice ages took place and during the peak periods most of the water on Earth was iced. Furthermore, the global average temperatures were 5 to 10 degrees Celsius colder than they are today. So unless you have an incredibly insulating jacket your chances of survival are looking pretty slim.

But this isn’t the only thing that you would be struggling with, to learn more about whether or not you would be able to survive be sure to check out the awesome new Life Noggin video below!
