    Doctors who love their jobs
    • Will respond to a patient in a friendly manner.
    • Will listen to your problems with empathy.
    • Will never ridicule you for coming in to the emergency so late.
    • Shall not be angry with your visiting friends and family for rising above the permitted dB levels. (May instruct an attendant to discreetly notify them to be more genial.)
    • Shall guide you with compassion towards good health.
    • Be competent enough not to judge you by any of your characteristics be it mental or physical.
    • Would treat each and every patient with equal goodwill.
    • In short, not only does it take 6-8 years to make a good doctor, but one needs to be excellent (really excellent) in people skills to be a competent doctor (and be known in society); for people (patients) generally judge a doctor by how they were treated (as a person) rather than how they were diagnosed, etc.

Doctors who don't love their jobs
    • Will always take into account the time invested in medical school and try to justify that by indulging in commissions, etc.
    • Have a frustrated demeanour towards all the colleagues who seem successful to her/him.
    • Would probably do all the things (mentioned above) that a doctor who loves their jobs wouldn't do.
