    systemic lupus erythematosus and one of it's symtoms is Skin rash -- a "butterfly" rash over the cheeks and bridge of the nose affects about half of those wz SLE. The rash gets worse when in sunlight. The rash may also be widespread.

    Malar rash/Butterfly rash - which is often seen in SLE but not pathognomonic..... it also seen in other diseases.....
