What is the most possible medical diagnosis ?
Multiple dilated bowel loops are seen
- Necrotising enterocolitis
- Intestinal obstruction ( jejunal atresia, ileal atresia )
- midgut volvulus
- Meconium ileus
My initial impression was - oesophageal atresia with TE fistula, becos the ryles tube seems to be stuck in the upper thorax.
pneumoperitoneum(air below the diaphragm)
Tetralogy of fallot
egg shaped heart = transposition of the great vessels
I agree with Chriss, this indeed looks like 'Transposition of Great Arteries' although i don't quite agree with egg on a string appearance...the egg part is evident ( due to increased convexity of the right atrial border ), but i can't see the string.
Answer : Transposition of great arteries
