Death of 3 young doctors in Egypt has been confirmed but the cause is unknown till now. 1st case: Dr.Ahmed Abdelatif, 32 years old married with one child was working as ICU doctor in Banha Hospital. He was dealing with a patient with resistant respiratory infection and mostly she was the cause of his illness. He got progressive symptoms starting with flu like symptoms and fever then dyspnea, coma and respiratory failure; He was admitted to ICU in his hospital as a patient for 3 days till his death. 2nd case: Dr.Doaa Ahmed Ismael, 29 years old, was working as internal medicine resident in Sinbillawain Hospital. She was pregnant when she was infected, she was admitted to ICU with a progressive course of antibiotics but it was useless and she died within few hours. 3rd case : Dr.Yasser El Barbary , 32 years old , he entered the El Mokawlon El Arab Hospital in Cairo with the same symptoms and he died within few days , his doctors said that he had unknown infection while ministry of health announced that he was under treatment of asthma for 6 months and it was the cause of his death. No one in Egypt knows anything about this new infection, but most of them believe that, it is Corona virus which causes many cases of death in Gulf Area especially in KSA and Oman. Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) is viral respiratory illness first reported in Saudi Arabia in 2012. It is caused by a coronavirus called MERS-CoV. Most people who have been confirmed to have MERS-CoV infection developed severe acute respiratory illness. They had fever, cough, and shortness of breath. About half of these people died.
