May I add fenugreek seeds and flax seeds to this list....hav tried it with a few people including my mom and it's not that u can totally discontinue other medication or even reduce, but does help to stabalise the otherwise up spiraling sugar levels. Other lifestyle modifications may also have a role, for ex - all my patients have to join a gym ( after cardio clearance ). One thing for sure, it doesn't harm.
