Yup, it's that time of year again. It comes around fast, huh? Can you even bring yourself to say it; the dreaded C word? Christmas - there, I said it. If you're anything like me - you'll be far from ready to begin thinking about what gifts to buy people this year. Well, for those health-conscious or fitness fanatics in your life, I've put together a list of my favorite health-related gadgets to help you choose, and give you an idea of the types of presents you could get them for December 25th. Your loved ones not really into health and fitness? Well, one way you could look at it, is rather than shower then with traditional unhealthy treats such as chocolate, why not look into healthier alternatives? Give them something that will essentially improve their lives, instead! Not convinced? Whether the special people in your life are fitness freaks or not, have a gander below - there's bound to be something in here for them (or even yourself). Here's my rundown of the essential Xmas health gifts for the tech lovers out there. It really does feel like it's doing something positive to your muscles, whether that's the case or not remains to be seen (I haven't been using it for too long yet) but my body does feel like I've worked out harder the next day. It's also compact enough to take on travels with you if you're worried you'll be missing some workouts while on holiday or work trip; a great gift for the fitness freak in your life. Jaybird Run earphones The most comfortable sports headphones? JayBird Run, by far I’ve tried plenty of wireless "sports" earphones, but what has always surprised me is that most of them just aren't really that comfortable, and quite shockingly, aren't well designed for exercise. In most cases, wireless sports headphones are bulky, and in my experience, a chunky or heavy set of earphones do not bode well for active pursuits, as any kind of strong movement usually means they just fall out. But JayBird's latest pair of fitness buds, the JayBird Run earphones, are quite the opposite. Not only do they have no wires connecting the two ear pieces to give you more freedom, but they actually stay there. They are also one of the most comfortable sports earphones I've ever worn, even more so than the Jabra Elite Sport, which I also like. Sound quality is also superb, and best of all they are loud if you need them to be. (Something that many earphones suffer from these days, I think.) Most of us own a TV, it doesn't mean we are couch potatoes though, right? Precisely. The whole point of a TV is to help us wind down after a stressful day at work, or a tough workout at the gym. Well, Philips' latest range of razor thin OLED TVs are the best out there for doing just that. And how best to keep it this way than with a good quality vacuum cleaner. It also ticks all the right boxes design-wise. One of my favorite Android smartphones, especially the Greenery edition. Its ability to track whatever workouts you can throw at it, with ease, all with a beautiful yet comfortable design that I'm sure will get heads turning at the gym, but for all the right reasons.
