Man had occasional stomach pain A Vietnam man who had surgical forceps in his body for 18 years finally had the medical instrument removed by doctors. According to a Reuters report, Ma Van Nhat, 54, had emergency surgery after a traffic accident in 1998. He felt occasional pain in his abdomen, and was given medicine for a suspected stomach ulcer. An X-ray finally taken last year revealed the forceps as his likely cause of pain, and the instrument was removed via surgery, the Reuters story said. Source
