What is your medical diagnosis ?
Down syndrome: medial displacement of the big toe resulting in broad web space between the first and second toes; known as "Sandal gap deformity".
"Sandal Gap" - seen in approx 45% of cases of Down's syndrome.
Pls note: it can be seen in perfectly normal children as well.
increase in the interspace between the great toe of the foot from the rest of the toes seen mostly in trisomy 21 syndrome
