I'am just 19 years old and before some months my gynecologist found out that i have the Papilloma virus the kind 6 and 11 that cause genital warts or condiloma so i made an operation to eliminate them..Now i visit my gynecologist every 2 months, in the beginning of may i visit him and he told me that i am clear i don't have nothing but now i have problem with my period at 15 of May start my period it was normal but the abnormal was that continue for 8 days and now it's 1st of June and i have period again..So my question is, is this normal?Is the Papilloma virus involved?Can it cause cancer? If someone can help me let me know. Thank you.
All vaginal bleeding isn't necessarily menstrual blood.. could be a number of things ranging from infection ,trauma, pregnancy related issues all the way to malignancies... however given your age that's highly unlikely.. what is more probable is poor wound stasis after your wart removal procedures.... bottom line...go see your gynecologist ASAP.
