How long is studying Medicine in your country ?!

Hi I'm In Romania

6 years Full medical degree

 

in Syria it takes 3 years basic medicine
3 years clinical and you'll have the M.D
next you choose a specialty or residency and you stick to the program you chose for a couple of years depending on the specialty you chose

 

hi..iam in Kenya and it takes 3years of basic medicine,3years of clinical study and 1year being an intern...then your're good to go

 

Let's add Belgium Since two years the government reduced the amount of years from seven to six. Now there are 3 bachelor years (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry etc.) and afterwards 3 master years including two years of internship.After those years another two years to become a physician and up to 7 years for other specialities (an extra 7 years for neurosurgery is the maximum I think)

 

hiii im from india but now studying medicine in ukraine and it takes 6yrs to get my degree

 

helo, i am in india, it takes 4.5 years of clinical,non clinical and para clinical subjects and then 1 yr of internship to get m.b.b.s , the basic medical degree

Bosnia & Hersegovina 6 years, full degree, but i wouldnt recomend it here, very bad if you are not from medical family
i dont know how they have licence to work as university, maybe its so in each country, i donno...or im perfectionist..

2/3 years preclinical.
2-3 years clinical. (both must total to 5 years.)

After 5 years you get an MBBS. You can go on to Residency after (must be an intern, SHO etc.. before though), and then when you are a senior resident, and a consultant's opportunity opens up, you will be promoted assuming you have the grades.

You can go on and get you DM as well but I'n not sure if it's after residency or internship.

I'm from Yemen. And I'm a graduated nurse with a baccalaureate degree taking 5 years.
For GP 6years or 7years ...This is depending on the system applied by the university you study in

3 Years for Basic Medicine
2 Years for Clinical Medicine
Then 12 month full time internship so it's mean takes 6 years totally.
Then you will be General Practitioner. İf you want a regular doctor , you mus pass the exam, which one called TUS.
