In Japan, a school of medicine or Faculty Of Medicine is 6 years program. And then 2 years junior residency program.
Russia 6 years for medical diploma, then an internship (1 year) or residency training (2years) are required to be able to practice. But soon they wanna change residency for up to 5 years - to make it closer to most european countries

hi i"m from the philippines 10 years = 4 years bachelor degree( Nusring, Medtech, pharmacy, etc that is related to science/para medical) = 4 years doctor of medicine (inc. clerkship) = 1 year rotational internship = then national board exam + 4-5 years for residency training to become especialist.( need to pass the especialty board exam)

I'm an Indonesian. in my country we learn almost 3 years for pre-clinical, means in college. and we spend about 2 years in clinical / hospital. and than we must join UKDI, such as indonesian doctor exam competence. and after pass the exam, we must join the internship in the villages about 1 or 2 years.
