    female atient complained of progressive dysphagia
    and loss of her weight for the last 2 yrs
    her blodd picture shows microcytic hypochromic anaemia


    whatis ur provisional diagnosis?
    how to manage case.........?

    Maybe esophageal cancer.
    I would do X-ray and esophagoscopy.

    Diagnosis=plummer vinson s syndrome
    management
    1 CBC
    2 X-rat with barium swallow
    3 oesophagoscopy
    ttt
    1 correction of anaemia
    2repeated dilatation
    3 regular follow up as it is precancerous
