    Periorbital and facial edema ;cause may be nephrotic syndrome or other etiologies.

    protein deficiency: it may be due to malnutrition (kwashiorkor), nephrotic syndrome, malabsorption. In my opinion kwashiorkor is the most probable etiology in this case.

    I also think it's Kwashiorkor malnutrition - protein deficinecy in this case, could be nephrotic syndrome as well. Would need more history ??
