World is at this point really unimaginable without mobile phones, and many people around the globe spend couple of hours each day talking to their loved ones, business associates or friends, not thinking about posible negative health effects that mobile phones could have, especially regarding our brain. Though we still do not know with certainty are mobile phones microwaves really doing damage to our brain or not, there are good chances that they have negative effects on our brain, so we should definitely not rely so much on our mobile phones.

Different studies in rats have showed significant damages to brain cells in rats exposed for 2 hrs to microwaves from mobile phones, and these damages were still seen 50 days after the exposure. In humans however studies weren't so conclusive, and despite number of studies, none provided conclusive evidence one way or the other.

Most scientists would agree that there is risk in excessive exposure to microwaves from mobile phones, and some scientists have implied that children are most sensitive to these microwawes, mostly because their brain still keeps on growing. Several studies have also showed that mobile phones could have negative effect on genitals, especially if wear in pocket.

The latest study from Sweden has come up with the results that mobile phones and other cordless telephones definitely have a biological effect on the brain, and the lead author of this study Fredrik Söderqvist recommends caution, especially among children and adolescents.

The possible health effects from long-term exposure to microwaves have not been clarified, especially among children and adolescents, and since more than 80 percent of all 19-year-olds use mobile phones regularly this could turn out to be health problem in years to come.

All the leading global health organizations such as the American Cancer Society, (U.S.) National Cancer Institute, World Health Organization and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration all have concurred that wireless devices are not a public health risk. But the main point is that this is not a certainty. And since our health could be at stake here extra caution is always recommended.
