Mom Miscarries Her 4th Child. Weeks Later, Doctor Looks At Ultrasound And Finds 6 Babies

The Waldrop family of five wanted to bring a fourth child into the world, but they received a lot more than they bargained for.

Courtney and Eric were childhood sweethearts. All they wanted to do was expand their family. They already had three lovely boys at home, but they wanted a house full of kids running around and playing with each other.

When the couple tried to have a fourth child, they experienced a devastating miscarriage. They decided to keep trying, keeping their dream of a big family alive.

So, they moved forward with fertility treatments, though their doctor explained that the chance of multiples would be very low.

However, once Courtney and Eric went back to their doctor to check on the pregnancy, they realized there wasn’t just one baby in their sonogram.

In the video below, posted on August 17, 2017, Eric says: “When we finally got far enough along to see the heartbeats, thats’s kind of when it all changed and we just turned it over to God and we realized that he’s going to get us through it.”

The family never expected Courtney to carry sextuplets. Now, they are trusting God to help guide them through to term.
