    Israel:

The country with the least number of medical student graduates is Israel. Every 100,000 inhabitant, there are 5.5 medical graduates per year. This could be due to the few number of medical schools in Israel, which are only five. Also, 58% of doctors working in Israel were trained in foreign countries.

Next in order comes Japan with 6.4 students and USA with 7.5 students per 100,000 inhabitants. Although there is a total of 179 medical schools in the United States, the number is still low. This could be partly because of the high medical school fees that ranges from 32K - 50K dollars per year.

The above table shows how the number of medical students graduating in Europe is within the range of 9-17 students per 100,000. The more developed the country, the less the number of students graduating yearly. For example, 12.8 students graduate yearly in the UK, while in Slovenia the number of students graduating yearly is 17.4.

    Ireland

The country with the highest number of medical graduates is Ireland with 23.7 student for every 100,000 inhabitant. You might think that there are many medical schools in Ireland, but ironically there are only 6 medical schools in Ireland. This could be because medical students pay only 2500 Euro/year.
