Technology has continued to be produced and continues to completely change the world in ways that people never thought that it would. Technology has become an almost necessity if one wants to be capable of managing or doing anything productive in today's world. Some of the most prevalent technological changes that have been produced is the invention of the internet and cell phones with their seemingly endless capabilities. These capabilities have made many life changes with some being good, while other aspects of new technology have also been proven to be a huge negative. One of the positives is that it is easily accessible for the most part and it allows for people to communicate and perform activities at their own comfort and their own convenience as well. The negative is that the internet has also led to many distractions that have seemingly taken over people's lives. These people focus so much on social media that they lose touch with friends and family as well as even lose jobs, because of their obsession with these technological improvements. These are just a few of the greatest inventions that have ever existed, however they also have their drawbacks as indicated earlier. There is now another piece of technology that is believed to be coming out and it may change the world forever, however it may also be one of the most controversial changes to ever take place. This is at quite an awkward time where people are becoming more and more aware of the fact that the government is looking over everyone's shoulder, but are providing lies and fallacies about anything of the sort. This new invention that has been believed to be coming from the struggling, but once prominent company known as Sony. Once one of the best companies for media, television and computers, Sony has repeatedly gone bankrupt in many of their divisions. Their remaining prominent division is the gaming division where they have had success with their playstation gaming consoles. Sony is trying to make a comeback now with the newest invention involving eye-wear. This eyewear is believed to be a new style of contact lenses, however this is no regular contact lens. It is believed to be a contact lens that is capable of accessing the internet and creating records with the blink of an eye. This will most likely become more controversial once this news reaches mass media. This news is also not too good for companies such as YouTube and Netflix, as this would most likely be its own kind of media playing technology. There would no longer be a need to get on the internet on a computer or phone to watch a movie or video if one could simply just blink their eyes in a specific way and suddenly be able to access many of the luxuries that exist in today's age. There was always a belief that technology may end up stalemating, however Sony has proven that this is only the beginning of new technology. This could also be a ploy by the government to be using this as a new way to record other people as they would most likely be able to access these recordings from the contact lenses.
