gingival hyperplasia - clearly the gingiva has mushroomed and invaded the interdental space there is some accompanying inflammation as well so gingival hyperplasia + gingivitis I won't call it peridontitis at his stage...becos that involves loss of alveolar bone. But gingivitis can progress to peridontits as the increased blood surge sec. to inflamation can lead to accelerated bone attrition.
