Knuckle Pads are the benign thickening of the skin, nodules about the size of a split pea on the dorsal surface of the interphalangeal joint and are occasionally seen in children. They are produced by hyperplasia and accumulation of fibrous tissue resulting in thickening of the skin over the knuckles of the hands and feet. The condition is asymptomatic and frequently associated with camptodactyly and Dupuytren's contracture.
