I tried many time for the scholarship quota to be a M.B.B.S . But i was unlucky fellow to publish my name in the scholarship. So i quit and joined microbiology . So my friends could you share your Study habits , as a pre medical student . It will be fruitful to my juniors .
Equalize Your amount of work on the different courses on each semester/year and do some studying everyday while doing other stuff as well. It is important also to live Your life, hang out With friends, og to the gym etc, besides studying. In my case this is very important in order for me to put max effort in to studies and to get the best results.
My tips that have been beneficial for me during medicine but I think can be applied to any course. - Study little and often everyday. If you find medicine or a topic genuinely interesting then it shouldn't be difficult to find the motivation to do this. - Study in 45 min - 1 hour chunks with 15 min breaks in-between and actually stick to that. You'll retain more information that way - Shake it up, study in different ways. Reading the core text, reviewing a recorded lecture or lecture slides, watching different videos on a subject on youtube, using a white board, mind maps etc. keep it interesting! -It's better to understand than to blindly memorise stuff as it reinforces long term retention - Apply learning to clinical cases even if you are in pre clinical years, it makes it more interesting and helps you to understand how the body works normally when you realise how things can go wrong. Spot Diagnosis and the prognosis app are useful for reinforcing knowledge!
good informations friends but i am feeling that my mind is restless that i am thinking alwys about something like studies,my futures, and so on. so i am feeling very stressfully what is the way to keep my mind peacefully and keep it in rest
When you feel this way, close your eyes (in a safe situation), and use your imagination. Imagine what you want your future to look like. In detail, imagine what it sounds like, smells like, looks like, feels like... Hold on to that feeling. Keep feeling that feeling. As soon as you feel that a sense of peace or relief, say "thank you." When you feel gratitude for what is to come, you will understand that the past and present moments are what gets you there; thus, feeling thankful for them, and at peace. Imagine what you want; feel it; believe it; receive it.
thanks for your kind information, but when i am thinking, feeling about my future i have afraiding about that my feeling, thinkhng will comes true or not.,in that pressure, depresion i am not studying

The most important tip that you must know: NEVER let what you have to study for the last moment, even if it's a short topic.
Don't worry, it is difficult but not impossible, you just have to find something that doesn't make you to think on you future, for me it was the exercise, 1 hour daily at least.
I myself is the student of Ist yr MBBS.For pre medical student it is fruitful to focus on its books only, to study its books keenly not to study here & there things for it.Also the most important thing is to study in a relax mode not to become tensioneer about its goal, but try to achieve it in a relax mode.thank you .best of luck
It actually happened to me. I found the reason was perfectionism. I found that meditation or if you like, praying, was a great way to get out of that situation. There is no way you can control everything that happens. If your goal is to get streat A's, you will have anxiety because exam questions do not depend on you. If your goal is to be in the best, let's say, 3 of your class, you do not control what others are or how well they study. The way out is to accept to be the best that you can be in all aspects of your life: including family, friends, and other stuff. Know where you want to be in 5, 3 and next year. Be as precise as possible and have confidence that your brain will be attracted to what you need. Reajust your plan to reality when needed. A mentor can also help you. If they charge money, change mentor! Good luck (I might make mistakes since English is not my first language)
When I start a chapter, say the endocrine system, and am overwhelmed by the volume of new information, I back off and and just take one topic (one gland). Being frustrated stunts my learning.
Some college only shares news regarding scholarship programs, but they do not offer any scholarship to students. Read all guidelines and rules before entering in any university or college.
